Autoridade Nacional do Petroleo e Minerais (ANPM) is Timor-Leste public institution, created under Decree Law No. 27/2019 of 27th August, 2nd amendment of Decree-Law No. 20/2008 of 19th June, on the Autoridade Nacional do Petroleo, responsible of managing and regulating petroleum mining activities in Timor-Leste area, both offshore and onshore and in the Greater Sunrise Special Regime in accordance with the Decree Law on the establisment of the ANPM, the Timor-Leste Petroleum Activities Law, the Maritime Boundary Treaty (MBT) and the Mining Code. Currently the ANPM is seeking one (1) qualified Timorese for position:

1. Operations Admin Officer, 1 position

Task:

  • Plan and Manage D&P Directorate’s administrative dealings for the GSSR Joint Commission Meeting, PSC Management Meeting and other relevant meetings;
  • Produce high quality and efficient documents including meeting minutes, letters, reports, graphic/presentation slides and briefing papers;
  • Manage the workflow of briefings, correspondence and requests for information to the D&P Director in line with priorities established by the D&P Director, monitor important issues, and follow up action when required;

Education:
Must hold a Bachelor degree in one of the following areas may consider applying for this position;

  • International relations
  • Communication management
  • Administration
  • Business management
  • And other related fields such as Petroleum engineering, Geological engineering, Chemical engineering and Mechanical engineering with strong working experiences in administration matters.

Essential Criteria: 

  • At least 2 years working experience in providing effective administrative related works in English speaking environment;
  • Timorese Nationality;
  • Effective verbal, listening and writing communication skills of using English
  • Teamwork skills
  • Communicates with influence skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, and Lotus Notes
  • Typing skills of 40 words per minute

  1. A cover letter shall address to the key requirement under education and essential criteria with maximum two pages.
  2. A CV/resumate with details decription of your education and professional experience, and must list three reference and their contact details.
  3. Copy of university degree (Degree and transcript), a copy of either Timor-Leste ID (Eleitoral, BI or Pasport).
