MoU with São Tomé e Príncipe

Timor Leste Government through Secretary State of Natural Resources signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the Government of São Tomé e Príncipe in 2011 for cooperation in the petroleum and the EITI (Extractive Industry Transparency Initiatives) sector. The ANPM had been assigned to coordinate and manage projects related to the Mou. The MoU foresees exchanges of knowledge and experience through secondment of São Tomé e Príncipe officials from the National Petroleum Agency and EITI secretariat to Timor Leste relevant institutions, financing capacity building trainings and providing necessary equipments to support the function of both the petroleum agency and EITI secretariat offices.
