Based on the Joint Dispatch issued on the 26th February 2014 by the two principal institutions, the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (MPRM) and the Secretariat of State for Vocational Training and Employment Policy (SEPFOPE), ANP, now converted ANPM, have now completed a Draft Decree Law on Labour for the Extractive Industry Activities , and hence will conduct a public consultations processes with all the relevant stakeholders for an initial scheduled period of one month starting on Friday the 4th of March to the
3rd of April 2016 with an additional one month period of extensions schedule consideration of up to only the 3rd of May 2016 before its final submission to the Council of Ministers for approval.
The activities of Public Consultation will be carried out through a 1 (one) days’ workshop with schedule consideration for the following relevant entities:
– Companies and business entities operating in the area of Mineral, and
– Workers working in the referred area
During this period of Public Consultation, the public in general have the opportunity to access the developed draft Decree Law as referred through website ANPM ( www.anp-tl.org ) or may obtain hard copy from SEPFOPE and ANPM office during the working hours period to provide their constructive inputs and feedback
