Autoridade Nacional do Petroleo e Minerais (ANPM) is Timor-Leste public institution, created under Decree Law No. 1/2016 of 9th February, 1st amendment of Decree-Law No. 20/2008 of 19th June, on the Autoridade Nacional do Petroleo, responsible of managing and regulating petroleum mining activities in Timor-Leste area, both offshore and onshore and in the Joint Petroleum Development Area (JPDA) in accordance with the Decree Law on the establisment of the ANPM, the Timor-Leste Petroleum Activities Law, the Timor Sea Treaty and the Mining Code. Currently ANPM is seeking three (3) qualified Timorese for position:

  1. Drilling & Blasting Officer

The candidate selected for this position will support Manager – Exploration & Exploitation to ensure effective and efficient performance of the department; and assess, develop, implement and monitor effective drilling and blasting practices in mines and quarries.

  1. Mineral Exploration Geologist – Officer

The candidate selected for this position will support Manager – Exploration & Exploitation to ensure effective and efficient performance of the department;and investigate geological features to locate and meausrepotential mineral resources for subsequent prmotion, exploration and commercialization.

  1. Mineral Exploration Geophysics – Officer

The candidate selected for this position will support Manager – Exploration & Exploitation to ensure effective and efficient performance of the department;and investigate physical properties of geological features to determine potential mineral resources for subsequent promotion, exploration and commercilization.
